Flowers are the one of the main
beauties in deciduous forests. They
include the bluebead lily,
goldenrod, and the pretty lilly of
the valley. Flowers are used by
insects for food. They are different
colors, blue, red, red, orange, green,
and more. Since the soil is very
fertile there are may healthy flowers
in deciduous forests.
There are a lot of animals in the
deciduous forests. That includes,
birds, foxes, deer, eagles, bears, and
more. These animals follow the food
chain in order to get food. If one
species dies off the food chain
would be harmed. This won’t affect
all animals severely but it could
starve one or more species and give
another more food.
Insects are everywhere in the
deciduous forests. There are many
types of insects, and you can find
them in trees, bushes, plants, and
more. These small creatures eat
various things. Predators like bats
usually eat these insects for food.
Insects come in many shapes and
sizes. Even butterflies have
different colors and shapes!
